To support our growth, we are hiring a junior project engineer . You will join an enthusiastic team of 14 colleagues where knowledge sharing and mentorship are key priorities. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to launch their careers in an innovative technical environment.

This position is a full-time, permanent position.

Function

As a junior project engineer, you will receive step-by-step training and guidance from experienced colleagues. You will grow into the role and gradually take on more responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in projects both domestically and abroad
• Assisting with project follow-up
  • Assist during the design phase in collaboration with the e-plan drafter
  • Assist with programming and preparing for testing (FAT)
  • Support for onboarding at the shipyard
  • Assistance with SAT testing at the client's site
• Learning how to perform maintenance on systems
• Support for maintenance contracts
• Receive guidance on customer interactions and technical follow-up

You’ll start out in a support role and work your way up to a position where you manage projects from start to finish on your own.

Profile

• You are a recent high school graduate or have some (limited) work experience.
• You have a degree in industrial engineering with a focus on electromechanics (or equivalent).
• Interested in energy, automation, and technology.
• Knowledge of PLCs is a plus, but not required.
• You are eager to learn and want to keep growing.
• You enjoy working in a team and are a good communicator.
• You work with precision and in an organized manner.
• You speak Dutch fluently and have a basic knowledge of French and English.
• You are open to projects both domestically and abroad.
